It seems fairly consistent with the neoconservative ideology plaguing the White House these days. Wolfowitz, Cheney, and other folks from the
Project for the New American Century are intent on making the United States military as godlike in its strength as possible. I'm not surprised by this nuclear buildup at all, though it
is a little creepy.
