I could see easily more money going into defence, and new ways to combat unconventional warfare. But fucking Nukes? Seriously, Nuclear Weapons are something we should lock away and forget about. Even destroy if we could. All of them.
The USA can't go around disarming countries when they are doing research themselves. What kind "moral meassage" does that put out?
