Friends was like a more harmless version of seinfield.
Fraiser isn't supposed to be high brow it is to make fun of high brow, that's why on cheers, fraiser was the butt of many the jokes.
Although with out norm and cliffy, and the addition to the droll of Niles, I never gave the show a shot.
