Why is the top of my air conditioner wet?

OH SHIT!
So, at the top of my window, there is water dripping through, at 2am. In the middle of the cold winter night, melted snow/ice is coming through the siding down in my window, into my room.
So I ended up using a cut-up pie plate to catch the water, and drip it behind my front window, in front of my back window, and down to the outside. I originally tried a floppy... which is now sitting between my windows where I cannot get it.
Then is started dripping out of a second place, in the corner of the top of the window. But it stopped now.
And now the water dripping down the window is freezing, making a crystal waterfall of ice. And I'll be up all night watching my window and praying that nothing else happens. So if anyone wants to have an all-night party, lemme know.
