Ok I can understand the reasoning behind the filter issue, and I can understand the porn thing too, for same reasons, but then it sounds as if you're almost ok with someone making a hateful racist post but being roundabout in it and not using specific filtered words. Just because someone's not using a word doesn't mean he's not saying something racist.
For example vince should be banned ages ago for not-quite-well veiled racist remarks :/
And I don't see why you have to bring advertising sponsors into this at all. It's one thing to not want to see blatantly racist posts around because it offends your ethics, and another to do so because it might offend the ethics of potential sponsors. I don't care at all about potential sponsors, but I care about you, because I'm on your message board, and going by your rules, and not potential-sponsor.com's message board. I just want to see where the big difference is in calling everybody a 'fucktard' and why that's not frowned-upon behaviour.

I don't care too much about pub and whatnot I wasn't even around. I don't care if they're racists or not. I care about what sort of moderating example this will make for the future. It's something that I want to understand because I've seen loads of blatantly offensive threads that could give the wrong idea to the person coming here and no bans besides for this one.
