Sounds like what happened with me when I saw it the first time. Cept I didn't see another movie. I just went home with me dad. But yea, those effects are fucking amazing. Still some of the best work I've ever seen in a movie. Hands down one of my favorite movie series. (JP3 is only OK compared to the others)
