He doesn't want to DESTROY the earth, infact, in many episodes he makes a deal out of keeping it STILL THERE.

I have seen ALL of season 1, and alot of Seasons 2 and 3, and all of his plans differ greatly. And alot of episodes have plots OTHER than "Quonqer the earth", like "Go back in time to murder Dib so he is never a threat" or "Save the earth from OTHER invading species" or "Escape from the school ALIVE while you are bing chased by Dib, throwing food that is deadly to your race" or "Try to live through "Judgement Day", and try to stop it if possible so you can still have the earth" or even "Go into a Freddy-Kreuger-ish Dreamworld, and escape from Monsters, Johnny The Homicidal Maniac, Satan and more". And some episodes don't even HAVE ZiM doing anything, like in one episode where Dib was forced into a Deathmatch against a mutant of his father's creation, and one where Dib's insane sister going on a manhunt for a hoodlum that stole her Gameboy. Some don't even HAVE Dib, like when ZiM was abducted by other dumbass aliens who thought he was human, and trying to escape. Plots difer greatly. Although I must admit, ZiM saying "Doom" all the time does get a bit tiring, but he only does it in early episodes.
