I'm not saying that because it's something that I'VE been through. I'm speaking from the experience of witnessing it in someone else and it is real. It's not something that they've totally caused themselves or that is easily escapeable ... the yolk of which can be tossed off with a simple "snap out of it!". I'm not saying people shouldn't help themselves. I'm saying that it's not as easy and formula as you portray.
