That reminds me of something I've been wondering about, and I might as well be a jerk and ask it here.

I'm looking for something laptop-ish that's lightweight and pretty much just for typing. So it wouldn't need any heavy specs as long as it can run Word, or something. It wouldn't need net access, not even an operating system as long as transferring documents to my PC wouldn't be a big hassle.

Should I be looking for a Notebook (which is an Apple product, if I remember correctly, so that might cause problems with transferring documents)?
