I have never played nor owned or met General Custer.
I found some Smoke sprites,
I liked him better when he was gray instead of purple, in MK3

There's more loose, unanimated sprites
here under Mortal Kombat 3 and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3.
I COULD rip Smoke with actual smoke from UMK3 on SNES, except those sprites are far less pretty
