As a general rule any Video game that is made into a movie usually sucks ass, look at Resident Evil, the only likable character was killed off in the very beginning, and that lead character doesn't look like she could walk away for a car accident let alone an infestation of zombies. Anyone will notice that the Final Fantasy characters are getting younger and younger, there is a reason for this, an it is fairly simple, to make it easier to create pornos, in Japan there rules aren't as strict as they are in the U.S. One simple rule for Japanese porn NO PUBIC HAIR, the most simple reason are the most overlooked. I still think TGL is the best game ever although people who think the entire Final Fantasy series sucks apparenttly haven't played anyone the older games, Final Fantasy Tactics is the most in-depth RPG I've ever played, and the challenge in finding a copy only helps to prove that it was great. All square games, suck huh? Ever played Front Mission. I do think ENIX was the better of the two, but the first Final Fantasy stole the show.
