Yeah, these XP users aren't exactly the birghtest in the bunch, but what exactly is so bad about 2k anyway? XP seems to just want to make my life more annoying. =/
I fixed the problem by using an extra 10GB i had lying around as the new master and turning the old C
into a slave, so hopefully this means it won't bitch at me. I think it was the bad network card that i inserted. Seems to me like 2k was set automatically to detect any hardware errors and then isolate them to keep them from spreading, or something. Whatever, this new C runs faster like whoa anyway =o
I hear Linux gets no problems of these type of nature, but quite frankly i'm just too lazy to use it. If i had a new PC i could use it, just because i'd have all the documentation. Mine is kind of like a pimp-ed out frankenstein zombie, where everything is a different make/model. I don't know my flippin' PCI Bridge model number, dammit! >=o
