as much as it pains me to agree with the snobby french girl, she's right. humans are the only mammals that drink milk during adulthood in nature.

that being said, i friggin love milk and i can't see myself giving it up. i think the idea that milk will make you sick is ridiculous. i think that there are some people who are more prone to being lactose intolerant and i've read that there might be a link between milk intake and crone's disease, but to say that if you consume it, you WILL GET SICK is a bit extreme to me.

i drink skim milk. i have ever since i was a youngin. it doesn't make me sick. actually, it calms my stomach when i'm not feeling well.

i like soy milk, too, but not enough to give up regular milk.
