I've Just got the bloody rusty key....From what I've played so far, all I can say is the the game is a completely different feel from the first 3 silent hill games.

It sorta reminds me of the game "Siren" (with those damn ghosts you can't seem to keep dead.) And the control scheme is totally redone. But it's still pretty interesting enough to keep pushing foward to see what happens next.
