today the juniors get to watch the movie version of "the crucible"! with winona ryder! i'm sure they'll be overjoyed! i know i sure am! it's 8:30 and i was up throughout the night with the baby! an hour of sleep here and there! i can't wait for the bell to ring so i can enrich these adolescents' souls! with literature on the small screen!

my determination not to work within the public school system--especially in virginia--dwindled little by little over time and now, here i am, ready and willing to beg for a full-time position. isn't it funny how stressful living conditions can weaken your resolve. . .
