i am currently registered with no party affiliation but was previously (prior to 2001) a registered democrat. i consider myself highly educated and involved when it comes to politics and our ever-changing social and political climate. that being said...

i voted for bush.

in other news, i stood in line for 2 hours saturday here in sunny florida to cast my vote. no problems other than the fact that i lost my right contact. i went back an hour later to look for it and i was able to walk around the lobby that everyone was waiting in. they wouldn't let me anywhere near the actual voting room, which i know is where i lost the fucking thing.

i would have to say that all the laws were being strictly adhered to and democracy in action is a fine thing to watch, but i'm still pretty fucking pissed about having to replace a 96.00 contact. in order to feel as though the 2 hours and 96.00 i spent on saturday counted, that texan better win.
