I was purposely being a jackass. Look into the word "irony," of course Yom Kippur isn't a hedonistic celebration, its supposed to be the most solemn of all Jewish holidays. Point of fact, I know a great deal about Jewish holidays, their historical roots and current observations. Furthermore, I'm a Protestant, not some fucking Papist, therefore Lent, like the rest of your post, isn't applicable.
