We've seen natural selection work with amazing speed in HIV infections, and we see mutated frogs all the time. Hell, I swear I've seen a six-legged cow while in Kansas. So yeah, even though we appease the morons by not calling it the Law of Evolution, the idea is accepted as a concrete fact.
And although I am quite aware of its benefits, I'm still opposed to embryonic stem cell research.
