It's not so much that you're sitting on money. It's that you need that little kick of income to get you up to the 1 or 2 thousand you may need to continue building your forces.

Right now, I have 3 peasants. I get 150 gold each turn. Before, making 50 a turn was too slow, and before I could reach a point in which the money would matter it would be taken. Thanks to this, I was able to buy weapons and armor finally for my troops, and RAPE THE FUCKING SHIT OUT OF PEOPLE.

I blew some money on making sure I produce 2 peasants a day, so that way I can train more troops while still making sure I don't go below 3 peasants. With the extra money I bought some whores and crack cocaine.
