Understanding why I like the way choking people feels doesnt make me want to choke and hurt people less, so really thus far I haven't found knowledge of my disorder helpful. Except that I can be all like, "oh its ok, I dont really think you all hate me and are conspirating against me, I'm just B.P.D yo!".
