Yes, Canada is so perfect in its lack of concrete decisions and/or half-assed way to implement them.

Note that gay marriages (after YEARS now) are still not legal everywhere, pot is still not legal, homophobia is still rampant, and racism, while probably not as bad as in the states, is still very alive and well (just listen to AChimp talk about Native Indians on this board). Our health care, while free, generally involves waiting for hours (I waited 8 hours last time and I was bleeding everywhere) unless you're suffering an (immediately) fatal injury. I don't leave my door unlocked, nor does anyone I know (maybe in rural areas, but the Moore scene mentioned was shot in Metropolitan Toronto, where that is absolutely not the case).

Don't get me wrong, I'd much rather live here than in the U.S., but articles like this are very misleading. Canada is far from a utopia. And yes, at least a lot of these things mentioned are steps in the right direction, but Canada too often seems to test the waters with what it can get away with to avoid pissing off its big brother too much.
