As an African American parent of teenagers (who were with my wife and me at the premier viewing), I was mesmerized by this positive offering most notably from Dr.& Mrs. Cosby and from the similarly great director Joel Zwick. AND as a long-time fan of stunningly captivating movies with plots and characters that engross... again I was mesmerized by this absolutely BRILLIANT production.

The audience of wonderfully mixed ages and ethnicities alternately laughed, applauded, cheered, JAMMED and even cried at every appropriate moment throughout the film. I searched for flaws and literally found none except for the fact that it actually had to come to an end.

Extremely positive without being preachy or predictable. Endearing while refraining from being syrupy. PERFECTLY ACTED... so much so that I can't choose a favorite, or disliked performance from the male OR female stars! And OH SO HIP!! This totally cool FAT ALBERT MOVIE is throwin' down something magical that can be and SHOULD be enjoyed by masses for generations to come.
