Congratulations. You are able to hear very high-frequency sounds. You should see an ear doctor. Or try decreasing the refresh rate on your monitor at the expense of your eyesight.

I can tell if a TV is on when I'm in someone's house because I can hear the high-pitched sound that the screen makes. I can't hear monitors, though, because their refresh rate is waaaaay higher.
