I've never liked Tekken and I watched some kids play 5.

The game just seems like it tries way too hard. They were playing on this one stage and every time someone fell over, whether they were lightly tripped or rocketing from the sky, the ground would like, explode, and rocks would shoot out. It was somewhat retarded.

I don't think DOA is a spectacular fighter by any means, but it at least knew how to work environment damage in tastefully.

Oh, and I've always hated how people like, "float" when they're knocked into the air in Tekken. Earlier versions of Virtua Fighter did it too.
