Yeah, I've heard about the Silver Ring Thing group, and I also heard that statistically, the people who pledge something like that are about 40% more likely to engage in premarital sex, and about 80% of those people won't use condoms.
So, in short, the group is useless, and not only that, detrimental to teen society.
