No, my point is that in epee there is much more wiggle room for form and footwork than in foil. Sure, distance is of a greater priority, but for the most part minor adjustments are all that's performed, and big actions are few and far between. Hence, you can be complacent towards those aspects of fencing.
No offense, Seth, but looking at your pic, I have a hard time imagining that a man of your size could have exceedingly quick footwork. I'm guessing that your analytical nature is your biggest advantage in epee.
