How dare you question him.
Aww, Bubba, are you still sad that I won't let you in the gang? I mailed you the T-shirt, I swear I did! Don't cry big guy, chin up. There's still plenty of room for you over at the gaming forum, or whatever.

I love how you keep harping on my comments like I'm coming from a Marxist perspective, or something. This coming from the loser who still thinks Libertarianism is nationally viable (sorry, preechr).

OAO, you may be right, but i don't think it takes away from what I said (despite CaptainDipshit's comments). My point was mainly regarding overt behavior in this country. Even people who may be racist aren't going to carry themselves in that fashion, and no reputable person is going to jump to their defense. So all these little girls are going to know is public derision and hatred. It has nothing to do with "rednecks" or Christians. It has everything to do with time, common sense, and the passing of tired doctrines. There will always be racists, but there will be fewer and fewer places for them to express that sentiment. That was my point, OAO.

In addition to that, this country (be it illegally or not) has been, and will only increase in being a diverse nation. We having a growing Latino population, aside from already being represented by many, many many different cultures and nationalities. It sounds to me like Bubba assumes that people in the south will just always have a little bit of racism in them, and how dare I assume things for entire populations. Well, I'm not a pollster, but i am an opptimist (regarding certain things), and I choose to believe that people eventually grow up.....even if it takes a couple of generations.
