Wow, thanks for posting that,, kevin. Lengthy reading but that's some reassuring information especially coming from John McCain. McCain is one of the few honest and sane republicans that I actually have respect for. I hope to god he's right and I hope everything else I've ever read about the terrorism and the derailment of the war are wrong. Lets hope the administration cleans up the mess in the middle east in which they started back in the 1980's. Taking Saddam out of power was a good start.

But the thing is that I'm concerned about this country's future. I get the feeling the administartion is more focused on rebuilding iraq and not focusing on our (americans) needs. I'm concerned about the financial situation of this country. We're already borrowing a trillion of dollars from other countries to pay for this war. How much is this going to cost the taxpayers in the long run? The administartion has already cut off large sums of social security and soldier's wages so they can be able to pay for the war. How deep some parts of this country will go into poverty? In fact why are most pugs of the administration keeping their profits that they've earned from the war? Do you wonder if the war is going to make america even more unsafe from terrorism? The longer we stay in iraq the larger the terrorist network will grow. Because of the mass casualty of iraq civilians and holding thousands as detainees, we've already pissed off too many people...
