no, it was ie. i used firefox on my pc before it got fried, and i probably should use it on this laptop, as well. maybe this weekend i'll have time to download and install.
i looked in internet options for the javascript turn-on, and the "use java <applet>" thingy is checked. am i looking at the right place? i'm using windows 98 on this still.
