James, your problem is rooted in your concern for the entire crew's completion of assigned tasks.

I presume you don't get a bonus if everything is done to perfection. You get the same pay regardless, don't you?

You need to adjust your attitude to your environment. Do what you can to be a good employee, but if you work with fuckwits who can't get shit done, don't let it get to you. You are not management - it is not your problem.

The more ridiculous it gets, the more potential you have for personal amusment OR for personal stress - and it all depends on your attitude.
