I'm not sure how low your budget is, but it seemed a bit too much for me too. I stopped spending so much money on food one month, and that was enough to cover 3 months of cov. It's well worth it if you play often.
And I don't know what you mean about the "cool" kids but we wouldn't treat you like a jerk unless you were a jerk. We pick on each other anyways, that's how Club Juju rolls.
