Well as someone who has experienced the pain of having a kidney stone, I can honestly say that if were ever in a position where my kidney stone was worth 25K, I would sell it and I would keep the money as compensation for my pain.

It's not the fact that he sold it that's so grievous, it's the fact that someone paid real money for it.
