That bitch Sharon Osbourne or someone had some guys to play newbasslines and drums and replace the old ones because original bassist and songwriter Bob Daisley wanted royalties (im pretty sure that Ozzy didn't write the lyrics. He was getting drunk and high every day back then to the point where he would pass out during vocal takes). If you wanna get Diary of a Madman (awesome album), I suggest you look for an older version in a pawn shop, before they came out with the recent remastered version, even if it doesn't have the added songs.
