It's pretty funny, and clever. It's about- oh:

A thread is like, it's called a thread because, okay on message boards you can create 'posts', which is like writing a note and then tacking it to a real-life messageboard.

Like, the corkboard ones.

But the post becomes a THREAD when people add their comments to it.

So I guess it's like a public restroom stall because people add stuff under what you said or cross out certain things that you said to make it look incriminating.

Though you can't do that second thing on the internet.

I guess I don't really get why it's called a thread, either.
