So I'm wondering what experience folks have had with casual, finite relationships.
So I met this woman. We like each other. She's moving far, far away (6 hours
) in two weeks. We've been dating.
So last night, we have this talk about her leaving and basically that being it. See ya. Nice knowing ya. Peace.
Now, I seemingly have two options. I can either continue to have a fling that we both agree will ultimately go nowhere, or I can back away and forget a girl I'll never see again.
Some might suggest I ride it out for the two weeks and have a good time. The problem with that is that it's not really my personality, and I actually
do dig this chick. She'd be a good girlfriend, were it not for the moving and never talking again business.
Any thoughts/storys/experiences to share on this?
