Okay, since everyone else would rather just talk about other stuff, I'll try to actually answer the question.
Hugh, I'd recommend you go to your bank and talk to a financial advisor about student loans; I could tell you everything in the world about business loans but I haven't needed a loan for STUDIOUS PURPOSES for some time now ;< I'd recommend that URL that Ziggy provided as well, but for learning about what your options are and how to go about exercising them, you should speak to someone who grants loans on a daily basis.
