Granted I haven't been to Iraq yet and I have it fairly easy here in Japan but things aren't exactly peechy keen all the time. I don't think people realize the sacrifices that one makes when they join the military, especially when they are overseas. You are basically leaving your life behind as well as in the hands of the government.
That's why I respect everyone in the military, even the cooks who serve me my scrambled eggs at the chow hall.
