The ASVAB has lots of questions where you look at a pulley system or something like that and given the direction of rotation you have to figure out what belts are going where. Then they see how many single-digit multiplication problems you can do, how many double-digit addition problems you can do, et cetera, within a timed period. I think it'd be pretty embarrassing to actually answer any question wrongly, it's just a question of how far you get in the battery sections. From this they decided that I should be a nuclear engineer in a submarine. (Yes, I DID lose the letter from my uncle promising me my own submarine.)
