In Chicago I had a housemate who really clung to me because I was the only person that didn't treat him like shit, even though I really wanted to. He just wasn't socially gifted, and most people were apt to remind him of this, and he'd be apt to ignore them and make really uncomfortable remarks.
One week short of three years ago, I was visiting the University for Scav Hunt during my leave of absence. Joel, the aforementioned housemate, saw me driving in my convertible and jumped on the hood of my car. He was really unhappy as I hit the accelerator and he rolled off abruptly.
So, don't jump in front of a car driven by your friends, kids, because if you're dumb enough to do that then you don't really have friends.
