First off, if everyone owned one of these like myself, i'm pretty sure they will be better informed.

Secondly, thanks for the recommendation, preechr, but unfortunately i dont read books, unless it has something to do with mcdonalds/fast food corporation or an autobiography of a person's life, then I'd read it. Articles are shorter, more convinient and readily availble to read in the device that I own. In the past, I didnt trust aljareeza because I thought it was mostly anti-american propaganda in order to fuel hatred toward the US. But then I dont trust what I read in the US because most of the media puts the current administration in a better light since that the bush administration (like karl rove) controls the information flow and have created their own hiercarchy in the media. I believe that the US media with real investigative journalists have died sometime in 2001/02 along with the wall street journalist daniel pearl who was investigating pakistan ISI's involvement in 9/11 before he got kidanpped and killed. So I rely mostly on sources from the various foreign media like the orientals, germany, scotland, england, etc to get a more balanced look of their views on the situation in the middle east, and unfortunately I hate to say this but I've come to a conclusion that aljareeza is where the real information are because the media all over the world outside the US share the same view as aljareeza.

Heres a example why i try to avoid the US media besides boston globe which is forever my favorite source for local news.
