Hah, I'm not sure that's the word I would use to describe it. We just watched it tonight. Re got bored with it and went to bed; Boogie and I stayed up to finish the movie. The whole "character profile" thing to introduce each character was annoying as shit, a lot of the movie felt like they were trying too hard. In fact, the only part I thought was good was when the girl was beating the monster in the face at the end until all of its teeth were knocked out and then she rammed her entire arm down its throat and yanked out some guts. Other than that, it clearly was trying to be funny like evil dead, but failing miserably for the most part.
They were fools not to give Henry Rollins a larger role in the movie, because his character was by far the best thing about it.
