If you're going to insult somebody, chances are you think they're an idiot, so why insult them with words they'd have to look up in a dictionary? Insult them with something that they'll understand right there on the spot so you can have the pleasure of watching them cry before your very eyes, rather than when they get back home and look up what you said on dictionary.com. I'm not saying don't be creative with your insults; I just think that coming off like some thesaurus-hugging, holier-than-thou, supreme douche from Harvard can be just as bad as coming off as a toothless, uneducated, moonshine-swillin' redneck from the hills. In other words: find a nice middle ground.
