I got the idea that since they had to divert so much attention to the Wii production of the game that both versions got shafted on quality, hence the unpolished desert and snow areas, and general emptiness of everything else.

Plus I'm noticing a lot of graphical glitches and errors in some places, especially during the day/night transitions when tiles of the ground will start flashing for no reason.
