They made a whole big fuss about how practically everything in Spore will be proceduraly generated - textures, models, music - whole worlds. Does the DS really have enough processing power to do all that? I suspect not.

I can see this being one of those situations where a game is released which shares the name of a PC counterpart but the similarities stop there. They'll call it, like, SporeDS and it'll just be a shell of the real game.

Then again, what do I know?
