It's hard to name just one, but I generally loved beat 'em ups. There fore, Golden Axe and Streets of rage series definitely among my favorites. Although, the crown goes to Punisher which was orgasmic.
Also, Sonic the Hedgehog series for Genesis were pure gold. Especially the second one.
And I guess I should mention FF 7, which is probably the best rpg ever and which made me to start playing other rpgs.
