80's music is just as awful as any other era of music, if there was the internet in the 80's you would be complaining how Tears for Fears is ruining music and wishing that Bob Dylan made another album worth a shit.
But now all of a sudden that music is fun and cheesy! The music hasn't gotten any better, it's nostalgia.
