he really liked me, probably loved me and i loved him the best i could as a friend, but it just wasn't there for me beyond that. i met him when i was 18. he didn't change one single bit in the almost 14 years i knew him. there were periods of time where we didn't talk often, but pat was the kind of guy who was always your friend. he didn't hold grudges at all.
