pat's funeral was today and i gotta say it's super hard to watch a whole mess of big dudes who you totally partied it up with on a regular weekend basis cry like babies for four hours. i mean, shit. these guys are all woohoo football and cleveland rocks and cheddar beer soup for breakfast and they were reduced to kleenex carrying, nose blowing and far off glazed stares.

the eulogy delivered by pat's sister was heart breaking and she is probably the bravest woman i know now.

the extra cherry topping to this week was my husband getting into not 1, not 2, but 3 car accidents. now i have to go deal with his fear of driving.

something good is going to come of this.
