People love to dislike Freud because he's popular, like Britney Spears. If he hadn't sold a million copies of "I'm aFreud you wanna f*** your mom (and so do I)" you'd all call him the underground revolutionary.
Seriously though, he broke through to even call on the idea of a subconscious, so don't disrespect.
