Hey, proto, I'm with you that this has become THE comic to read. It's good bad, like that episode where Shatner plays Kirk posessed by a chick, or gets split into wimpy Kirk and Crazy Ass Kirk.

I'm not suggesting that Miller is in total control of his actions, but I also think he's not entirely out of control. I think that while he may have started with something different in mind, at this point he intends the book to be black comedy.

If he actually had any self control, he'd have plotted it and left the scripting to somebody else. Or maybe not. This is sort of like a movie shot by, I don't know, Chris Columbus with story by Quentin Tarrantino and dialoge by Ed Wood. I LOVED this version of the JLA, I think it's maybe my favorite ever.
